Partners in Education Recognition

    OneOk

    Ross Mohr, Jose Ortega, Bo Wiley and Donnie Krumsiek with ONEOK, Inc., were recognized as active business partners with PÕ¾ÊÓƵ’s floral design program. ONEOK, Inc. donated funds for winners at the BCTAL Battle of the Blooms competition held on Nov.?29–30. 

    Texas Roadhouse

    Alyssa Levi, Texas Roadhouse, was recognized as an active business partner with PÕ¾ÊÓƵ’s floral design program. Texas Roadhouse donated food for the BCTAL Battle of the Blooms competition awards luncheon held on Nov. 30.

  • Holiday Card Winners

    Sadie Wells, Smithfield Middle School eighth grader, was recognized as PÕ¾ÊÓƵ’s 2022 Holiday Card Contest first-place winner; Madison Miller, North Richland Middle School sixth grader, was recognized as the second-place winner; Isabella “Bella” Jennings, Smithfield Middle School eighth grader, was recognized as the third-place winner; and Karyme Guzman, Haltom Middle School eighth grader, was recognized as the honorable mention winner. 

Summary of Actions

  • Approved the donation from Center Point Church to Holiday Heights Elementary; 

    Approved the order authorizing the issuance and sale of “PÕ¾ÊÓƵ Unlimited Tax School Building Bonds, Series 2023.” 

    Approved the Tarrant County District Appraisal fees for 2023. 

    Approved the School Health Advisory Council members. 

     Approved budget amendments.

    • Waterproofing at the FAAC from Gliden Industries, LLC;  

    • Turf replacement at the FAAC from Hellas Construction Inc.; and

     Approved the contracts with: (Funds come from Bond 2022 funds) 

    • FCG, LLC for professional services for 2022 Bond projects. 

    Approved the Multi-Region Purchasing Cooperative Interlocal Agreement for 2023–24 for Child Nutrition purchases.
