    Birdville Baptist Church in Haltom City was recognized for its support of Birdville Elementary SchoolThe church provides school supplies for students, classroom supplies for teachers and mentors, facilitates weekend backpacks with food, and so much more.

    Approved cancellation of the 2020 PÕ¾ÊÓƵ Board of Trustees General Election. Joe Tolbert, Place 1, and Kelvin Dilks, Place 2, filed and are unopposed for the May 2 election. 

    Approved the Tarrant Appraisal District (TAD) appraisal fees. 

    Approved the resolution approving the requirements of the Public Funds Investment Act.? 

    Approved budget amendments.

  • A public hearing was conducted for the District 201819 Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR).? 

Personnel

Bids Awarded

  • Approved the bid/purchase for: 

    • Advanced Placement (AP) tests from College Board; and 
    • Singlewire Informacast from Flair Data Systems, Inc. 

     Approved the contracts with: 

    • Education Advanced, Inc. for the purchase of Cardonex software; and 
    • Site improvement package for Watauga Elementary and North Oaks Middle schools from Nouveau Construction and Technology Services. 

    Approved the bid/purchase for: (Monies for these projects will come from 2018 Bond funds.) 

    • Data Center network equipment from Flair Data Systems; 
    • Controlled entry systems at nine campuses from Nouveau Construction and Technology Services; 
    • Data Center server and equipment racks from NetSync; 
    • Touch-screen HP Chromebooks for staff from Delcom Group;  
    • Touch-screen Lenovo Chromebooks for students from Connection; and 
    • LocknCharge Carrier Secured Charging Stations from Howard Technologies Solutions. 

    Approved the contracts with: (Funds come from Bond 2018 funds) 

    • Ratcliff Constructors for the construction of Smithfield Elementary School, and for the high school fine arts auditorium upgrades; and 
    • John Cook and Associates for HVAC renovations at Hardeman Elementary and Watauga Middle School. 

    Approved the final payment to:? 

    • Triple-C Fence, LLC for the replacement of the outfield fencing at Richland High School’s baseball field.
